ZIGGY- A DOG

As we have wonderful people looking after our precious dog back in Mn, we are paying it forward and have found a friend to walk each day.

Ziggy is a Cocker Spaniel /Poodle puppy, age 9 months.
He is cute, adorable really, and friendly. With loads of energy. He has long, curly fur the color of caramel.
He loves to run in the water with me and my sister. He recently moved down the hill from Nanny and Pappy. I was thrilled to find a dog living by us. Ziggy's owner said would you like to walk him for me, and I was like OMG, I was so excited. She showed us her house and all Ziggy's play stuff. We love to hang out with him he's lots of fun. He has helped us soo we are not so homesick. But we still miss our dog Pippy.                   LEONA & JUDE

  1. I'm sure Ziggy has a great time with you and all the attention you lavish on him!

We miss Pippy too. Maybe we'll have to take her for a walk next week one morning.

Zoe and Grace can now climb out of their cribs. Ugh. For the past month or so, Grace could climb into them by hoisting herself up, standing on the mattress through the rails, and then throwing herself over and landing face first, basically, inside the crib. She thought this was great because she could bounce, bounce, bounce to her heart's content.

Yesterday, I laid down to sleep while they were supposed to be napping. They were talking away, but they usually finally go to sleep. I awoke about 45 minutes into my nap because Grace's voice was too close, I was very deeply asleep so it stunk even more to be woken up...turns out they were playing in their room, and Grace had laid down on the floor and was calling me through the crack between the door and the floor, so that's why her voice sounded so much closer.

I had to sit in the chair in their room for nap time because Grace got out of her crib 1x, and vaulted herself over into Zoe's crib 2x. I wouldn't mind if they did that except Grace tackle hugs Zoe and it makes her cry. I could tell Grace to not get out if I stayed in the room. I also told her to be quiet because Z was sleeping, and she would say "Cuiet" I haven't figured out how to write that to best represent the really cute way she says quiet, it's kind of almost like the beginning of saying "cow" but "iet" at the end.

Our stroller wheel has been on the fritz, so we ordered a new one, and it didn't have the right piece to attach to the stroller at the axel, so it sat around until we figured out what we were going to do. My brother is here visiting for a couple of days, and he went to repair it and found one of them (Zoe, I would guess) had put cheerios into the hole where the axel would go. It was perfectly sized for cheerios, I guess!

    Hope you are doing well!

I will make sure to turn on skype next week after nap time. :-)
